Find An Illness Symptom Checker
How useful are they? Checking some of the most popular of these medical symptom checkers, it appears that they produce a lot of information but may fall short of providing definitive answers. For instance, WrongDiagnosis.com, provides a list of 1,729 causes for abdominal pain and vomiting and 1,300 causes for cough and throat symptoms. Still some are better than others. Here is a brief rundown. I have successfully tried the webmd version and Everyday Health illness symptom checker and recommend you start with those.

How does a Medical Illness Symptom Checker work?
The checkers performs a medical interview, just like a real doctor. During the interview, you answer questions about your symptoms and past medical history. In some cases, the symptom checker may ask for your height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, or breathing rate. Although the program works without answers to these questions, your results are more accurate if you can provide this information. This is not a illness symptom checker diagnosis tool. Refer to a doctor for any actual diagnosis. Read more... (555 words, 1 image, estimated 2:13 mins reading time)

Daily Law of Attraction Quote – Seek Joy

If we were talking to you on your first day here we would say, “Welcome to planet Earth. There is nothing that you cannot be or do or have. And your life’s work here is to seek joy.
“As you think thoughts that feel good to you, you will be in harmony with who-you-really-are. And in doing so you will utilize your profound freedom. Seek joy first and all of the growth that you could ever imagine will come joyously and abundantly unto you.”
— Abraham

Your Feelings Are Your GPS

Rather than trying to monitor your thoughts, we encourage that you simply pay attention to how you are feeling.
For if you should choose a thought that is not in harmony with the way that broader, older, wiser, loving Inner Being part of you sees it, you will feel the discord; and then you can easily redirect your thought to something that feels better and, therefore, serves you better.

Freedom the Eagle and Jeff
This is the kind of story you need when the world is going a little crazy.

Freedom and I have been together 10 years this summer.
She came in as a baby eagle in 1998 with two broken wings.
Her left wing doesn’t open all the way even after surgery,
it was broken in 4 places. She’s my baby.
When Freedom came in she could not stand and both wings
were broken. She was emaciated and covered in lice. We made the
decision to give her a chance at life, so I took her to the vets office.
From then on, I was always around her. We had her in a
huge dog carrier with the top off, and it was loaded up
with shredded newspaper for her to lay in.
I used to sit and talk to her, urging her to live, to fight;
and she would lay there looking at me with those big brown eyes.
We also had to tube feed this eagle baby for weeks. Read more... (773 words, 2 images, estimated 3:06 mins reading time)

The Truth In a Nutshell
By Eric Butterworth
I think of myself, basically, as a teacher and a counselor. So, lessons such as these are not meant to be literary masterpieces. I am not concerned with being lofty and profound, but in dealing with those day-to-day problems, for which people are seeking help and healing.
In these essays, I am not presenting a new religion, startling and shocking as some of the concepts may be. I am dealing with a technique for the application of fundamental Spiritual Laws, discovered and demonstrated by Jesus and many other great mystic teachers—the thread of Truth, the fundamental concepts that enable any individual, practically and creatively, to release his or her own “Imprisoned Splendor.” I have been dealing with these insights for many years. I have given thousands upon thousands of talks. Yet, all of these millions upon millions of words can be synthesized into just a few sentences. It is humbling to admit that a lifetime of teaching can be summed up “in a nutshell”…but I think it can. So, I would like to give that kind of a summation, just three simple things—three simple fundamentals of this New Insight In Truth. Read more... (1755 words, estimated 7:01 mins reading time)
