www.RenegadeHealth.com – Wow! Episode #17 already… This is a great and QUICK raw food recipe for ceasar salad dressing. After my attempt to make a quinoa meal and film it (luckly, that didn’t make the Renegade Health Show final cut), Annmarie asked if she could show everyone how to prepare meals. I said sure–as long as they tasted good–it would take all the prep off of me. And frankly, I don’t prep much. The most I do is cut a mango or chop some salad and put it in the bowl. So here’s the raw food recipe for ceasar dressing…

Freedom the Eagle and Jeff

This is the kind of story you need when the world is going  a little crazy.
51clw73QU1L True Friendship & An Eagle Named Freedom

Freedom and I have been together 10 years this summer.
She came in as a baby eagle in 1998 with two broken wings.

Her left wing doesn’t open all the way even after surgery,
it was broken in 4 places.   She’s my baby.

When Freedom came in she could not stand and both wings
were broken. She was emaciated and covered in lice. We made the
decision to give her a chance at life, so I took her to the vets office.
From then on, I was always around her. We had her in a
huge dog carrier with the top off,  and it was loaded up
with shredded newspaper for her to lay in.
I used to sit and talk to her, urging her to live, to fight;
and she would lay there looking at me with those big brown eyes.
We also had to tube feed this eagle baby for weeks.

The Truth In a Nutshell

By Eric Butterworth
I think of myself, basically, as a teacher and a counselor. So, lessons such as these are not meant to be literary masterpieces. I am not concerned with being lofty and profound, but in dealing with those day-to-day problems, for which people are seeking help and healing.

In these essays, I am not presenting a new religion, startling and shocking as some of the concepts may be. I am dealing with a technique for the application of fundamental Spiritual Laws, discovered and demonstrated by Jesus and many other great mystic teachers—the thread of Truth, the fundamental concepts that enable any individual, practically and creatively, to release his or her own “Imprisoned Splendor.” I have been dealing with these insights for many years. I have given thousands upon thousands of talks. Yet, all of these millions upon millions of words can be synthesized into just a few sentences. It is humbling to admit that a lifetime of teaching can be summed up “in a nutshell”…but I think it can. So, I would like to give that kind of a summation, just three simple things—three simple fundamentals of this New Insight In Truth.

The idea of six degrees of separation is that anyone on the planet can be connected to any other person on the planet by a chain of no more than five acquaintances. I first heard of this by way of the Kevin Bacon example that proclaims all actors are connected to Kevin Bacon by an average of less than 3 connections. It turns out Bacon isn’t even the most connected actor. Swami Vivekananda, the 19th century mystic credited with bringing Hindu philosophy to the west offers the perfect summary of the theme,

“All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.”

Walk to live

From : Mastering Maturity

Walk to be healthy, walk to be happy
- Charles Dickens

Does walking really make you fit?
I was challenged today that walking does not really make you fit.

So I realized I had to give details to provide credibility to my statement in my report “Revitalize Yourself”. In the report I state that ‘walking was one of the great, simple and easy things to do to improve your life and health’.

One of my subscribers challenged me as he knew that you had to get your heart rate up to 70% or more of maximum to get aerobic fitness. (Thanks Alan- I appreciate your challenge as it gives me the opportunity to support my statements!)

I am talking about getting fit for life, not running a marathon.

The benefits of physical activity depend on, duration, frequency and intensity of exercise.
