Emanuel James Rohn (September 17, 1930 – December 5, 2009) was an American entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker better known as Jim Rohn.

Emanuel James “Jim” Rohn was born to Emmanuel and Clara Rohn in Yakima, Washington. Jim grew raised as an only kid on a farm owned and operated by the Rohns in Caldwell, Idaho. He was born into a humble household, became a billionaire at the age of 30, and went bankrupt at the age of 33. He later became a millionaire once more. [1] Rohn dropped out of college after a year.
