National Singles Coach: Julia Quinn
National Singles Coach
After retiring from professional badminton, I wanted to give back, sharing my experiences and knowledge to help the next generation of English players.
I played professionally for England until I was 35, competing in 2 Commonwealth Games – winning 2 gold medals and 1 bronze.
I competed at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. and then became French National Coach for 4 years, then moving to Glasgow to coach with the Scottish National junior players. I then came back to England to become a consultant coach for Badminton England, coaching the senior and junior players until becoming full time as pathway coach in 2019.
My career highlight on court will have to be my 2 Gold medals at the Commonwealth Games. As a coach I am incredibly proud to have supported Lisa Curtin to a silver medal at the recent u19 Europeans.
I have a twin brother called Stuart!
